Student Loans Repayments ready to hike
Many of the graduates are facing a problem of hike in their student loan repayments and as a result of the inflation increase they have disclosed revealed in this week. The rate of interests on the student loans can be taken out before 1998 that are completely based on the retailing rates index (RPI). It is basically measured by inflation that is reported for each of the month of March.
The RPI figure for some last month was about 4.4 per cent that means many of the graduates are still paying off their student loans that are facing a sharp rise in the repayments prices from the month of September. All the graduates are paying off their loans that have been taken out since 1998 and will continue to pay back the interest equally to the base rate which is currently 0.5 per cent plus 1 per cent.
